Free Workshop: What Your Hypermobile Body Actually Needs to Thrive
Mar 24, 2026Here's what I've learned working with hundreds of hypermobile bodies: you're not broken. You're just trying to follow advice that wasn't designed for how you're built.
And that's exactly why we're hosting a free workshop on Sunday, March 29th.
What This Workshop Is Actually About
I specialize in hypermobility disorders and EDS, and am leading a morning of practical education on what bendy bodies need.
Not another "strengthen to stabilize" lecture. Not more generic advice about engaging muscles you can't feel. Real, applicable information about how hypermobile bodies actually work and what they need to thrive.
We'll cover:
How your nervous system processes position differently when you're hypermobile (and why this matters for everything)
Why "just strengthening" doesn't work without teaching your body where your joints are first
Breathwork specifically for bendy bodies (not just generic relaxation techniques)
How to actually modify workouts for sustainable results (beyond "don't hyperextend")

Who Should Come
This workshop is for you if you're hypermobile and you've tried traditional strength training and it hasn't helped (or made things worse). If you have EDS, HSD, or suspect you might be hypermobile. If you're tired of being told to "engage" muscles you can't feel.
You don't need to be a current Rooted Movement member. You don't need any experience with this kind of training. Just show up curious.
What You'll Walk Away With
By the end of this workshop, you'll understand why your body responds the way it does to exercise, what your nervous system needs to actually stabilize your joints, how to tell the difference between stretching and stabilizing, and practical modifications you can use immediately.
And maybe most importantly, you'll know you're not alone in this. That hypermobility isn't something wrong with you that needs fixing. It's just a different way of being built that needs a different approach.
Space is limited for in-person attendance, but we've got unlimited virtual spots.
Can't make it live? Virtual attendees automatically get the recording.
See you on March 29th,
